2002: Jessica began her junior year with a 19:02.11, 13th-place effort at the Tennessee Invitational...Just missed out on scoring as UT's sixth finisher in the squad's triumph on the 5K layout...Bounced back the next week to fill the number-three team slot, taking fifth overall in 20:12 as the Lady Vols won the 5.3K adidas Wolfpack Classic...In the first 6K foray of the campaign, Jessica kicked out a 22:34.22 pace at the PSU National Invitational to rank 35th and score in the fifth slot...Running a much shorter two-mile race at the UTC Invitational, she was 12th overall in 12:11 as the Big Orange prevailed over seven other schools...Took 27th at the 6K Southeastern Conference Championships, finishing as UT's fourth scorer in 22:51.30...Steady as ever, Jessica supplied her squad with a 23:21.57, 36th-place run as Tennessee's fifth scorer at the NCAA South Regional...Her effort on the 6K course was key to UT winning its first-ever regional title...Running in her first NCAA Championships race, Jessica scored in fourth position and placed 238th overall in 22:39.7 on the frozen 6K course in Terre Haute, Ind...In the classroom, Jessica also demonstrated a strong work ethic, garnering Academic All-SEC acclaim for the first time...She also joined the Lady Vol Academic Honor Roll once again...
2001: Jessica came on strong as a sophomore...She began the year with a fifth-place representation at the Mountaineer Open and was the second Lady Vol to complete the race, doing so in 18:22...After skipping the Commodore Invitational for training purposes, she covered the 5K distance in 17:43.04 at the Auburn Invitational to place third among UT harriers and 37th overall...In the first 6K layout of 2001, she navigated the trail at the Furman Invitational in 23:21, chiming in 133rd of 246 runners and fourth on the squad...Her best day as a Lady Vol came at the SEC Championships, where she distinguished herself as an all-league performer by taking 13th as Tennessee's number three scorer in 20:17.86...Ended the schedule at the NCAA South Regional, checking in 44th (fifth UT runner) in 22:50.89...For the second time, she was accorded membership on the Lady Vol Academic Honor Roll...
2000: Had a strong first season for the Lady Vols...Competed in six meets as a freshman and joined All-American Sharon Dickie as the only Tennessee athlete to do so...Finished sixth at the Tennessee Intercollegiate in her college debut with a time of 15:14 at the 4K meet...Was UT's No. 2 runner throughout the season with a career-best second-place finish at the UT Invitational, where she and Dickie were the first two runners to cross the line...Finished 10th at the Furman Invitational (18:18) and took 22nd out of 496 runners at the Lakefront Invitational (22:34)...Finished 17th at the SEC Championships in 22:17.01 and was one of three Lady Vols to run at the NCAA South Regional...Finished 37th at the regional meet with a time of 22:07.09...
