AT TENNESSEE IN 2004: Scored in fourth position in a pair of championship meets for Tennessee as a junior...Missed acquiring All-SEC accolades by one spot at the conference meet, as she placed fourth on the team and 15th overall in 21:27.19 over the 6K trail in helping the Lady Vols to victory...Ran fourth for the Big Orange and crossed the line 169th at the NCAA Championships with a 6K readout of 22:34.4...Also scored in fourth for UT and was seventh overall at the 5K Tennessee Invitational in 18:34.14...Took 13th and was Team Orange's fifth finisher in 18:28 at the 5K Mel Brodt Invitational...Was 32nd and ran sixth for J.J. Clark's crew at the NCAA South Regional, covering the 6K course in 22:09.85 as the team triumphed for the third straight year...Also held down the six spot for Tennessee at the 6K ISU Pre-Nationals meet, crossing 137th in 22:32.0...For the second time, Carly earned recognition on the SEC and Lady Vol Academic Honor Rolls.
AT TENNESSEE IN 2003: Carly introduced herself to fans in Big Orange Country by running second on the team and 11th overall in 18:04.08 at the season-opening Tennessee/adidas Invitational...Scored in third and took 10th of a field of 224 runners at the Paul Short Run with a career-best clocking of 21:17.53 over the 6K layout...Only other scoring role came at the Penn State National Meet, where she ran 6K in 21:49.12 to count fifth on the squad and place 35th overall...Finished sixth among the orange-clads and 35th against the field in 22:02.56 as UT won its second-straight NCAA South Region title, this time in Auburn, Ala....Was 30th at the SEC Championships in 23:33.85 and was seventh among Tennessee runners as the Lady Vols seized their first championship since 1990...Carly's artistry can be seen on the walls of the athletics department, where she designed and painted a giant decorative Lady Vol logo...She was also masterful in the classroom, where she garnered Lady Vol and SEC Academic Honor Roll acclaim.
AT GEORGIA TECH IN 2002: In her first collegiate meet, Carly scored in third position for Georgia Tech and placed 16th...Took third and was the Ramblin' Wreck's number-two runner with a 5K clocking of 18:30.06 as GT won the Georgia Intercollegiate Championships...Again finished second on the team and was 16th in the field at the Auburn Invitational, charting a 17:33.94 outcome for the 5K layout...Ascended to team leader status at the Atlantic Coast Conference meet, finishing 41st overall on the 6K trail at 22:39.6...Wrapped up her season by running on the home course of what would become her new team...Recorded a 32nd-place finish as Georgia Tech took seventh at the 6K NCAA South Regional at Lambert Acres Golf Club in Maryville, Tenn...Her 23:14.40 performance was third-best among Tech harriers on that day.
