AT TENNESSEE: 2008-09: Was not on the cross country team a year ago, but she did walk on to the track & field team during the spring after Head Coach J.J. Clark saw her training for a marathon at Tom Black Track...Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for her work in the classroom.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in track and cross country four years and with the boys' wrestling team for three seasons...Named to Washington Post All-Metro Cross Country Honorable Mention Team in 2003 and 2004...Finished second in her third Maryland outdoor state track & field meet, running 11:36.31 in the two-mile run in 2005...Owns prep career bests of 11:18 for two miles and 5:17 for one mile...That two-mile mark was a WHS record, as was the 9:43.9 clocking she helped set in the 4x800m relay...Minted a Pikes Peak 10K course record for the 15-19 age group in 2004 at 38:07...Was the first woman ever to compete in wrestling at Wootton and earned the honor of team captain...Earned Scholar-Athlete accolades.
