PATRICK ON POWE: "I was excited to see Farren have a breakout year last season. That was really the first year she was able to stay virtually injury-free, and we saw the athleticism that she can bring to the court. Although she will play mostly in the middle, she also has the ability to take swings at some different areas along the net. Offensively, we definitely need to find her in side-out and transition opportunities. We really made that a point of emphasis in the second-half of the season and that was one of the reasons we were able to finish so strong. The one thing that we really worked on with her is her blocking. She's quick, can get off the ground and can get high enough, so we just needed to work on some technique to make her a more consistent blocker and a more complete player."
