ROB PATRICK ON HARRISON: "DeeDee is easily our most physical player at the net. She can be very effective offensively out of serve receive and our plan is to add things to her game in transition. At some point in her career she is going to be a dominating blocker, she just needs to gain more match experience. She is going to cause some matchup problems because of her physicality in the middle and how high she plays over the net, along with how hard she is able to contact the ball."

HIGH SCHOOL: The first in-state recruit during UT Head Coach Rob Patrick's tenure at Rocky Top...Ranked 63rd on the PrepVolleyball.com Senior Aces list...Played on the Impact VBC and Williamson County Select VBC club teams... Lettered all four years at Hillsboro H.S. in volleyball, basketball and softball...Served as the captain for the volleyball team during her entire career and for the final two seasons in both basketball and softball...Garnered all-district honors in volleyball during each of her final three years, while picking up all-tournament laurels in the last two...Played in the Tennessee High School All-Star Game as a senior, collecting 17 kills...Also was named to the all-tournament team for basketball in both 2005 and 2007.

PERSONAL: Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences...Boasts a strong athletic pedigree, as her dad, former Vanderbilt star Dennis "Bigfoot" Harrison, spent 10 seasons as a defensive end with the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons in the NFL and her brother, David Harrison, played four seasons for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA... Her father earned a spot in the NFL Pro Bowl in 1981, while her brother was named to the All- Big XII First Team and earned Associated Press Honorable Mention All-America honors in 2004 at Colorado...Names her father as her biggest sports influence because he has a successful past and helps her see that anything is possible...
