ROB PATRICK ON GUERRA: "Natalie has played a lot of club volleyball at a very high level. A lot of her club teammates have been recruited by some of the top schools as well, so she has played with some very talented players which has helped her transition into our program in terms of getting up to speed with some of the athletic hitters that we have. She is somebody that can make all of the sets, will add depth this year and, as she gains strength and experience in our system, will be a player that can really help us to continue to be a successful program."

HIGH SCHOOL: Led Santa Barbara High School to the 2008 California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division I-A championship and was named the CIF Southern Section (SS) Division I Co-Player of the Year...Also took home CIF SS Division I and Channel League First Team honors during both her junior and senior seasons and was selected to the all-tournament team at the 2008 Dave Moh Memorial Classic...As a member of the Santa Barbara Volleyball Club, Guerra paced the 18-Blue squad to the MLKSpeakEasy title in January of 2009 and a runner-up placement in the National Gold Division at the Junior Olympics in Miami, Fla., in July...In 2008, she helped the 18-Elite team tie for fifth at the Junior Olympics in Dallas, Texas.

PERSONAL: Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences...Names the late American distance runner Steve Prefontaine as a famous person whom she admires...Models herself athletically after her father who played minor league baseball for the Baltimore Orioles organization...Plays the piano and lists art and photography as hobbies she enjoys outside of volleyball...Former teammates playing college volleyball include Kristen Dealy (Notre Dame), Kati Cattaneo (Southern Cal), Mimi Cuttrell (UC Santa Barbara) and Annie Villanueva (Dartmouth)...Chose Tennessee over the University of San Francisco and San Diego...Has four siblings, Brayden, 18, Tanner, 14, Keaton, 16 and Sofia, 4...Natalie Marie Guerra, the daughter of Orlando Guerra and Kathy Stuva, was born on Aug. 6, 1990, in San Francisco, Calif.
