2007 (SOPHOMORE): Started at libero in all 29 of Tennessee's matches in 2007...Led UT in the dig category in all but three matches during her sophomore campaign, missing out in the initial contest against No. 1 Nebraska, at Alabama on Oct. 21 and against Kentucky on Nov. 14...Had eight digs in the Lady Vols' loss to the top-ranked Huskers at the AVCA Showcase in Omaha, Neb....Posted a then-career-high 23 digs and two assists against No. 21 Utah the following day...Named to the Comcast Lady Vol Classic All-Tournament Team after collecting 35 digs over three matches...Put together a pair of extremely strong performances at the State Farm Illini Classic, Sept. 7-8...Recorded 19 digs in UT's loss to Creighton before setting a then-personal-best with 27 digs versus Marquette the next afternoon...Continued her steady play in the opening weekend of SEC action, registering 16 digs versus Alabama and 26 in a 3-1 triumph over Mississippi State, before setting a new personal best with 28 digs at Georgia on Sept. 23...Recorded team-best dig totals with 19 and 27 against Kentucky and Arkansas, respectively...Led UT to victory over No. 18 LSU with 37 digs...That effort marked the second-highest single-match total in Lady Vol history and the highest mark by any SEC player up to that point of the season...Followed that up with 23 digs against Ole Miss before posting an impressive 25 digs on the road at both Louisville and Mississippi State...Tallied the school record for digs in a three-game match with 31 in UT's sweep over Georgia on Oct. 26...Finished just two digs off the single-match school record with 40 at Ole Miss on Nov. 2...Added 21 in just three games two days later at LSU...Took over the top spot on the UT single-season digs chart while the team was in Baton Rouge, La., moving her season total to an astounding 510 digs...Was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week (Nov. 5) for those two performances...Continued to add to her record total with 18 digs against No. 8 Florida and a 31-dig performance in a five-game victory over South Carolina on Nov. 11...Surpassed the 30-dig mark once more with 35 at Arkansas on Nov. 16...Closed out the 2007 campaign on a strong note with a team-high 21 digs against Notre Dame...Goldman finished the SEC season ranked second with 5.57 digs per game and first in conference-only matches with a 5.73 average...Smashed the UT single-season digs total, surpassing previous leader Amy Morris' 2005 total of 506 with an astonishing 628 digs of her own...Moved into second in the Lady Vol record books in the career digs per game category with an average of 3.98 per game.
2006 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in 19 matches during her rookie season, primarily as a defensive and serving specialist...Collected a then career-high five digs vs. Miami (Ohio) at the Comcast Lady Vol Classic...Assumed a much larger role for the Lady Vols toward the end of the year, notching over half of her season dig total in the final three matches...Added eight digs against Auburn on Nov. 19, just two days after posting a career-high 13 versus No. 7 Florida...Totaled seven digs versus Duke in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was chosen as the Most Valuable Player of both the Tri County Athletic League (TCAL) and Monterey County, Calif., following her senior year...Also was selected to the Central Coast Section (CCS) third-team for her efforts during the 2005 campaign...Was first-team all-league and all-county in 2004 while leading her squad to a CCS DI title with a 29-6 record...Goldman was second-team in both categories in 2003 during Salinas' 21-6 march to a TCAL title...Spent two of her three years on varsity as the team captain...Participated with the local city beach volleyball club.
PERSONAL: Is majoring in communication studies...Has a family tie to the University of Tennessee, as Goldman is related to Lady Vol strength and conditioning assistants Kristen and Jessica Kinder...Proved equally adept in the classroom at Salinas High School as a three-year member of the Principal's Honor Roll...Also served as the vice president of the French Club...Chose Tennessee due to the beauty of the campus as well as the emphasis placed on both athletics and academics...Has one sister, Shelby, 18...Chloe Danielle Goldman, the daughter of Greg and Christine Goldman, was born on July 24, 1988, in Monterey, Calif.
