PATRICK ON FRIDAY:

"Although Amanda may be one of our more unheralded newcomers this season, her intensity, desire and strong work ethic will have a huge effect on our team. She is a no-nonsense player who stays very focused on the task at hand. She is also a quick learner and, as she becomes more comfortable in our defensive schemes, will push for playing time at the defensive specialist and libero positions. I am very excited about her potential and can't wait to see how she develops as she gains more experience."
