Ranked as the No. 11-recruit in the nation by PrepVolleyball.com as a senior...Was also named a top-50 junior recruit by the Web site in 2007...Named to the Ohio State Volleyball Coaches Association (OHSVA) District II First Team in both 2007 and 2008 and earned Chagrin Valley Conference honors in 2006 and 2007, being named to the second and first teams, respectively... Claimed All-Ohio Third Team accolades in 2008, as well as The News Herald Player of the Week laurels and Under Armour Second-Team All-America honors...Was a member of the Renaissance VBC from 2005-08...Claimed titles at both the 2005 East Coast Championships and the Ohio Valley Region (OVR) Regional Tournament...The team also emerged victorious at the 2006 OVR National Bid Tournament before placing fifth at the USA Volleyball Junior Nationals in Atlanta...The squad repeated its sixth-place performance at the national competition in Minneapolis, Minn., the next season after winning the Best of America Tournament...Cikra also led Renaissance VBC to a ninth-place showing at the 2008 nationals in Dallas, Texas...Success was not limited to the court as she earned the Principle's Academic Distinction Award as a junior and was the recipient of the Principle's Cum Laude Award in 2008...Also helped teach volleyball to middle and elementary-aged children.

Is pursuing a major in sport management...Names her mother as her biggest influence because she has supported her throughout her entire volleyball career...Former teammates playing college volleyball include Chelsea Harvey (Akron), Kelsey Kuehner (Appalachian State), Meredith Paskert (Kent State) and Jessica Mueller (Eastern Kentucky)...Models herself athletically after beach volleyball and former Stanford star Kerri Walsh...Chose Tennessee over Ohio, Duke and Georgetown...Decided to attend UT because of its emphasis on women's sports and academics...
