AT TENNESSEE:

2006: Leslie returned to health and displayed the form she flashed as a rookie in 2004...She worked her way into shape during the indoor campaign, making the 800m finals and placing sixth at the SEC Championships in 2:09.48...Dropped her season best to 2:06.94 at the Alex Wilson Invitational, which was good enough for second place and an NCAA provisional...It would not prove fast enough, however, to make the national championship field...She did go to the NCAA meet on a UT relay, though, helping the distance medley unit finish 10th in 11:29.69...Also helped the DMR to a season best of 11:16.91 at the Tyson Invitational, which was a victorious time and fifth-fastest in school history...Outdoors, Leslie established herself as one of the nation's best at 800 meters...Recorded a then-personal best of 2:04.66 in the SEC prelims and just missed victory in the final with a 2:06.28 runner-up count...Posted a 2:06.04 readout in the NCAA Mideast Regional to place third and qualify for the NCAA Championships...At the national meet, she advanced through two qualifying rounds and then charted an eighth-place result of 2:06.07 in the final to collect her first individual All-America honor...Kicked it up another notch at the USA Championships, reeling off back-to-back times of 2:04.77 and a PR of 2:03.38 to grab eighth against her country's best...That effort earned her the right to represent her country at the NACAC Under-23 Championships in Santo Domingo, D.R....She did so in fine fashion, placing fourth for the U.S. in 2:05.74...Collected All-America distinction at the NCAA Championships via a relay as well, assisting UT's 4x4 to fourth in 3:29.00, the number-four clocking in Big Orange annals...The Lady Vols' typical third leg on that tandem, Leslie was on board for a fourth-place SEC effort of 3:38.63...Also contributed to UT's victorious sprint medley group (3:45.16) and runner-up 4x800m (8:31.83) lineup at the Penn Relays.

2005: Leslie saw duty in four meets indoors as a sophomore, with a 2:10.69 readout and third-place finish in the championship flight of the 800 meters at the Tyson Invitational figuring as her top result...Logged a 2:11.15 effort in the SEC prelims...Ran the 800m leg on UT's third-fastest DMR combo of the campaign, an 11:27.62 result that was good for an NCAA provisional mark at the Penn State Invitational...Ran in two meets outdoors before gaining a medical hardship......Anchored the sprint medley relay to third place at Florida Relays with a cumulative 3:46.97 count...Reported a 2:12.48 800m time to take sixth at the Gatorade SEC/Big Ten meet and ran on a third-place UT 4x400m unit that finished in regional qualifying pace of 3:37.22.

2004: Leslie was an SEC scorer and NCAA qualifier in the 800 meters and a relay All-American during the indoor campaign...Uncorked her fourth career best of the season in the 800m finals at the SEC Championships...After running 2:07.34 in the prelims, she checked in at 2:06.86 in the championship race to place seventh and give UT three scorers in that event along with Nicole Cook (1st) and Kameisha Bennett (5th)...Qualified for the NCAA Championships but suffered a costly false start in the preliminary round and was disqualified...She bounced back the next evening, however, as she claimed an All-America certificate with Tennessee's fourth-place and school-record-setting 4x400m relay unit...Ran third leg for a squad that circled the oval in 3:31.49, filling in capably for an ailing Antoinette Gorham...Had previously run with the "A" 4x4 at the Penn State National Open (1st) and the Tyson Foods Invitational (5th)...Stands sixth on UT's all-time indoor 800m performers list...Outdoors, Leslie was again an SEC scorer as well as an NCAA qualifier...She etched career-topping times into the record books in her first three 800m races...Ran 2:07.65 to place third overall and first collegiately at the Sea Ray Relays...Covered the distance in 2:07.07 in the prelims and then 2:05.57 in the finals to take sixth at SEC Outdoors...Made the NCAA Championships field as an at-large invitee and wound up 21st in 2:08.88...Qualified for USATF Juniors and walked away with fourth place via a 2:10.47 effort in the finals...Logged duty on the 4x400m and 4x800m relays, earning a third-place finish at SECs by anchoring the former (3:32.77) and a victory at the Penn Relays by running the opening leg with the latter (8:21.13)...The 4x8 clocking was just off the collegiate record...She also aided the 4x8 to a Tom Black Track collegiate record and a meet-best time of 8:28.87 at the Sea Ray Relays.
