Clark's movement of Brittany from opener to closer for the race was questioned by the media, but she held off Oregon's anchor to prove her coach right...Ran a mile/3000m double at the SEC meet and secured runner-up status in each, running times of 4:43.56 and 9:26.63...The latter was a PR...Ran her mile career best of 4:43.05 to win at the Texas A&M Challenge...Outdoors - Secured second place in the 1500m (4:19.34) and 5000m (16:21.03) on her own track at the SEC Outdoor Championships, notching PRs in each race...Lowered her PR in the 1500m to 4:18.74 at the NCAA East Preliminary Round, easily qualifying for the NCAA meet as one of the nation's leaders...Running well in the prelims at the national meet, Brittany got caught up in a tight pack and took a tumble...That mishap prevented her from advancing...Had PR of 2:06.86 to take second in the 800 at the Sea Ray Relays...Contributed to all three of UT's triumphs at the Penn Relays, including the distance medley, 4x800m and and 4x1500m relays.

2009: Indoors - Saw action in two indoor meets before redshirting...Before shutting down, she notched a 3000m personal record indoors (9:38.67) in the season-opening Kentucky Invitational...Outdoors - Did not compete.

2008: Honors - Named a USTFCCCA Indoor All-American and chosen to All-SEC Indoor First Team and SEC Indoor and Outdoor All-Freshman Teams...Indoors - Indoors, Brittany ran the opening leg as UT's DMR won the SEC crown for the second straight season in 11:26.26 and took the NCAA crown in a then-school-record 11:01.97...Placed fourth in the mile at SEC Indoors in a then-career-best 4:47.26...Logged an 800m PR of 2:08.85 at the Penn State National and had a 3000m season best of 9:38.76 to take third at the Kentucky Invitational...Outdoors - Scored at the SEC meet in the 1500m by taking fifth in 4:25.76...Qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional and finished 12th in 4:38.04...Career best at the time of 4:24.60 came in a runner-up finish at the Vanderbilt Invitational...Was a member of three runner-up efforts at the Penn Relays, including the 4x800m, 4x1500m and distance medley relays...The DMR unit posted a school record of 10:50.51 at that meet.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was an All-American indoors in 2006 and earned all-state acclaim as the state champion in both the 1000m (2006) and 1500m (2005) runs...Outdoors, Brittany was all-state in 2004 after winning a state title in the 800m and in 2005 after claiming the state crown in the 1500m...Took second in 2007 at the state indoor meet, running 2:55.07 in the 1000m...Ranked fourth on Track & Field News' indoor prep list in the 800m at 2:10.77...Placed fifth in the 1500m at 2007 state outdoor meet in 4:40.05...Was ninth in the 800m at the 2007 Nike Outdoor Nationals in 2:09.15...Prep bests on the track include 2:09.01 for 800m, 2:49.48 for 1000m (Suffolk County and national sophomore record), 4:26.13 for 1500m (Suffolk County record) and 4:50.10 for the mile (Suffolk County indoor record).
