UT CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Two-time USTFCCCA All-American (indoor DMR, outdoor 800m) in 2009...NCAA champion with DMR unit...Four-time SEC scorer...SEC All-Freshman Team selection...Three-time Penn Relays champion...Owns two world records, three American and collegiate marks, and four UT bests. 2009: Overcame a slow start indoors due to injury to cap the year with a flourish...Was an NCAA Indoor champion, handling the 800m leg on the world-record-setting DMR that ran 10:50.98...USTFCCA Indoor (DMR) and Outdoor (800m) All-American...Placed 11th in 800m at NCAA Outdoors but was one of the top eight Americans...Posted a career-best outdoor 800m readout at the Georgia Games in Marietta Ga., running 2:01.33 on July 19...During the summer, she won at the USATF Junior Championships (2:06.79) and earned a silver medal for Team USA (2:05.13) at the Pan Am Junior Championships...Placed sixth indoors and third outdoors in the 800 meters at the SEC Championships...Named to SEC Outdoor All-Freshman Team...Sixth at NCAA Mideast Regional...Scored on UT's 4x400m relay at both the SEC Indoor (4th) and Outdoor (5th) Championships...Ran on all three of UT's victorious baton quartets at the Penn Relays...The DMR simply won, while the 4x1500m unit (17:08.34)claimed a world record and the 4x800m tandem (8:17.91) snared the American record...In addition to school records outdoors in the 4x8 and 4x15 and indoors in the DMR, she helped chart an indoor mark in the 4x8 (8:34.32) as well at the Penn State National Invitational...Member of SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll and USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team. HIGH SCHOOL: Named 2008 Gatorade National Female Athlete of the Year and was recognized for that honor at the ESPYs...Also named the Gatorade Track & Field Athlete of the Year as well as state winner for Pennsylvania...Ran a then-PR of 2:01.61 in the 800 meters in June 2008 at the Prefontaine Classic in Oregon...That mark was the second-fastest time in scholastic history, placed her sixth against a world-class field and earned her an invitation to the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials...Finished seventh at the 2007 U.S. Outdoor Championships in 2:02.38...Three-time Pennsylvania Class 3A state champ in the 800m, setting a state meet record of 2:02.90 that also shattered the National Federation of High Schools mark as well...Two-time Nike Outdoor Nationals 800m champ, winning in 2007 with a time of 2:02.76...Went on to finish seventh at 2007 IAAF World Juniors...Prep PRs include 54.55 outdoors and 54.6 indoors for 400m, 2:04.96 indoors for 800m, 4:50.65 indoors for the mile and 2:45.76 indoors for 1000m.
