Brooke Novak                  Position: Director of Operations Experience: Third year Alma Mater: Tennessee (2006)

Former Lady Vol All-America distance standout Brooke Novak is in her third year as the director of operations for the Tennessee track & field and cross country programs. She returned to UT after spending two years as children's activity director for Court South and National Fitness Center.

Novak was an NCAA champion, two-time All-American and three-time SEC champion during her track & field career at Tennessee. She ran the opening leg on UT's national champion DMR unit in 2004 and started that relay off toward an SEC meet record of 11:16.61 that season. She also won the SEC 3K indoor crown in 2004 and anchored the Big Orange to a second straight league DMR title in 2005.

In cross country, she garnered All-South Region and All-SEC accolades three times each in cross country while leading the Lady Vols to a pair of SEC titles, three region crowns and a trio of NCAA Championship appearances.

The native of Kaukauna, Wis., graduated from UT in summer 2006 with a degree in human ecology.
