Four-year member of the track & field team at Laurel Highlands High School...Helped that squad win section and county championships all four years of her career...Also ran cross country three seasons and spent time as a member of the cheerleading squad...Tied for eighth at the 2008 Pennsylvania State Indoor Track & Field Championships with an indoor personal-best clearance of 10 feet, six inches in the pole vault...Posted that same height outdoors on several occasions, most recently en route to victory at the 35th Boathouse Sports Baldwin Invitational in May 2008...First cleared 10-6 at that meet in 2007...Placed fifth with a clearance of 10-6 at the 2008 Pepsi National High School Hall of Fame Classic at New York's famed Armory...Three-time county champ in 2005, 2006 and 2008...Participated with the Vertical Assault Pole Vault Club and attended the Reno (Nev.)
