2010: Honors - Selected to USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, SEC Academic Honor Roll and SEC Community Service Team...Chosen VOLSCARS Lady Vol Volunteer of the Year and was recipient of Lady Vol Community Service Award, Lady Vol Herb Neff Award and Most Valuable Lady Vol Outdoor Field Athlete Award at team banquet...Indoors - Did not compete...Outdoors - Competed in seven meets, improving her PR three times in the javelin...Scored in conference action for the first time and finished fifth with a career-best effort of 142-10 at the SEC Championships...Had previously established that PR in April during a sixth-place effort at the Pepsi Florida Relays...Started season with a then-best of 140-8 at the FSU Relays...Qualified for the NCAA East Preliminary Round with her 142-10 mark but did not advance to nationals.

2009: Honors - Named to SEC Community Service Team and SEC Academic Honor Roll...Indoors - Threw the weight at one meet indoors (40-0 3/4)...Outdoors - Finished just out of the points in the javelin at the SEC Outdoor meet, placing ninth at 134-9...Posted her javelin career best of 137-2 at the Sea Ray Relays and placed seventh...Her hammer PR of 144-3 came at the Pepsi Florida Relays.

2008: Honors - Selected to SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll...Indoors - Did not compete...Outdoors - Saw action in the javelin in eight outdoor meets as a rookie...Top throw came at the Georgia Invitational, where she stretched the tape to 133-6 to finish third...Also took third at the Hurricane Challenge with a then-PR of 131-10...Earned the opportunity to compete in the SEC Outdoor Championships, carding an 11th-place outcome with a heave of 116-4...Qualified for the USA Junior National Championships and came away 13th at 126-6.

HIGH SCHOOL: Active with Knoxville Track Club and Knoxville Rowing Association...Holly earned AAU and/or USATF All-America honors in the javelin and hammer...Among her load of accomplishments were finishes of second in the javelin and third in the hammer at the USATF Youth Nationals in 2005...Holly's prep bests include 117-5 1/2 in the javelin, 30-0 1/2 in the shot put, 99-2 in the discus and 112 in the hammer.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 29, 1989, in Houston, Texas....Holly is majoring in journalism and electronic media...Parents are Roger and Brenda Kane...Has three siblings, including Chris, a former distance runner on the UT men's team, Hope and Timothy.
