2006: Ran at her hometown school, the University of Miami, as a freshman...During the indoor campaign, she placed eighth in the 60-meter hurdles at the Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Championships...Recorded the Hurricanes' top time in the 55-meter hurdles last season at 7.82...Posted a season-best 60m hurdle readout of 8.45 in the prelims of the ACC Indoor Championships...Outdoors, she placed sixth in the 100m hurdles at the ACC Championships in 13.80...Finished 25th in the 100m hurdles at the NCAA East Regional in 14.11...Recorded a season-best clocking of 13.68 in the prelims of the Texas Relays.

Tiki was the 2005 Nike Outdoor national champion in the 100m hurdles, clocking a time of 13.74...That mark ranked her fourth among all high school girls as a senior...She was the Florida High School Athletic Association 4A state champion in the 100-meter hurdles in 2002, 2003 and 2004...Tied the state record, and charted the school record, in the 100m hurdles (13.53) in 2004...Her best time, however, was a 13.51 output at the 2003 USATF Nationals...Ran on state champion 4x100m relay units in 2003 and 2005...Finished sixth in the 100m hurdles at the 2003 IAAF World Youth Championships in Sherbrooke, Canada, racing to a time of 13.78...Served as team captain her final two seasons...Helped Northwestern High School win the state team title in 2005...She was a Miami Herald All-Dade selection all four years and a USATF All-American as a senior...Named to the All-USA Today Track & Field Teams in 2004 and 2005...Also did some long and triple jumping for NHS, charting career bests of 19-3 and 37-8 1/2, respectively...Member of National Honor Society and the honor roll at NHS, receiving the Superintendent's Diploma of Distinction and acknowledgment as an honors graduate...Participated in Student Government Association as well as cheerleading, PAVAC dance, royal court and golden girls...Voted Miss Northwestern by her peers.
