2009: Redshirted indoors but competed throughout the outdoor campaign...Charted several career bests in the discus and hammer as a rookie...Her most recent improvements came at the NAAA/Sagicor Jr. Championships, Trinidad & Tobago's National Championship meet...Won the hammer throw there with a toss of 157-10...Claimed discus crown as well at 145-10...Those victories earned her the right to represent her country at the Pan Am Junior Championships, where she placed seventh in the hammer (145-11) and 10th in the discus (126-7)...Competed in the hammer, discus and shot at SEC Outdoors...Best finish was 13th in the hammer at 156-9...Named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.
