2006-08: Competed three seasons at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and graduated early, opting to pursue an advanced degree that was not offered by UT Knoxville's sister school...Was a three-time All-Southern Conference honoree during her collegiate career...Finished fourth at the 2008 SoCon Outdoor Championships in the 400 meters and was third with the Lady Mocs' 4x400m relay unit at the league indoor meet...Had personal bests of 58.90 for 400m and 2:22.33 for 800m indoors and 56.33 for 400m outside...She ran the latter mark in the prelims of the SoCon Championships...Voted ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV Cross Country/Track & Field Second Team in 2008 after carrying a cumulative 3.92 grade point average through last spring...Ran 400m leg on victorious DMR quartet at 2007 SoCon Indoor meet...Among her other honors were being named to the SoCon All-Academic Team, the UTC Dean's List and the Athletic Director's Honor Roll...Also was a finalist for the Dayle May Award, which goes to the male and female senior student-athletes with the highest GPAs...

Was a two-time state pentathlon qualifier...Set school record as a member of the 4x800m relay team...Placed fourth in the 4x8 at USATF Junior Olympics...Earned the Army Scholar Athlete of the Year Award...Graduated ninth in her class at Hillwood High School...

Amanda is pursuing a Ph.D. in psychology...She earned a B.S. in psychology from Chattanooga in May 2008...Has four siblings: Darrel Greer, 20; Tessa Waltonen, 19; Chase Bilyeu, 18; and Autumn Bilyeu, 16...Amanda C. Alexander was born in Fort Smith, Ark., on Nov. 13, 1985...Her parents are Janine Bilyeu and James Bradley.
