JUNIOR (FALL 2009):

Captured two wins at the SEC Coaches Tournament before sitting out the rest of the fall schedule due to injury.

SOPHOMORE (2008-09):

Named to the 2009 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll...Tied for the team lead in singles wins for the year, notching a 26-12 record...Finished second in doubles victories with a 28-7 tally, including a 15-5 mark in dual match play...Downed 10 consecutive doubles opponents when playing with Natalie Pluskota and nine straight after switching to Maria Sorbello...Was a perfect 9-0 in singles at the fifth and sixth lineup positions...Defeated Natasa Vuckovic of South Carolina, 7-6, 6-4, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament...Helped UT reach the semifinals of the SEC Tournament in Fayetteville, Ark., with wins in both her singles and doubles contests against South Carolina...Although the team fell in the finals to No. 3 Georgia, Meredith and Sorbello claimed Tennessee's only victory at the third doubles spot, 8-0, over the Bulldog combo of Naoko Ueshima and Cameron Ellis...Went on a 13-match singles winning streak from Feb. 20-April 10...Claimed 10 of those victories in straight sets, including wins over Auburn's Myrthe Molenveld and Arkansas' Emily Carbone...Easily downed Miljana Jocic of South Carolina, 6-1, 6-1...Along with Zsófia Zubor, was the only other Lady Vol to win her match against No. 23 Florida when she defeated Barbara Pinterova, 3-6, 6-1, 6-3...Before blanking Remi Martin from Purdue, 6-0, 6-0, beat Illinois' Kristina Minor, 6-3, 6-4, in the first dual match of the season...Recovered from a slow start in the fall portion of her second season to win six of her final seven fall matches...Notched a pair of wins at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships before taking the Bronze singles draw title at the SEC Coaches Tournament...Finished doubles action on a high note, winning the White draw doubles title at the SEC Fall Tournament with Pluskota.

FRESHMAN (2007-08):

Named to the 2008 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll...Finished her initial season at Rocky Top with a terrific 19-12 singles record, as well as a 21-13 mark in doubles action...Split time between the fourth and fifth singles positions, going 8-4 from the No. 4 spot and 5-1 in the fifth slot in the lineup...Went 13-5 in dual-match play, including a 6-2 record in SEC matches...Opened the spring with four consecutive singles victories...Also strung together three straight wins from Feb. 24-29 before finishing off the year with victories in her final three matches...Clinched three UT victories on the year, finishing off wins over Middle Tennessee, Purdue and South Carolina...Was one of only two players in the league to claim SEC Freshman of the Week honors, doing so on Jan. 21 and Feb. 25...Joined forces with Connor Vogel in doubles for most of the dual-match season, accumulating an 11-7 record from the No. 3 position, including six wins over conference foes...The tandem sealed the doubles point for the Lady Vols against Ole Miss on Feb. 29...Went 6-7 in singles play during her first semester in Knoxville...Also tallied a 7-4 mark with three different doubles partners, including a 3-0 record with fellow freshman Rosalía Alda at the St. Mary's Classic...Won the consolation draw in the third flight of singles play at the Furman Fall Classic...Also claimed a pair of singles victories at the SEC Fall Coaches Classic, Nov. 1-4.

HIGH SCHOOL:

Ranked as high as the 19th-best recruit in the nation by TennisRecruiting.net...The 2007 "Blue Chip" recruit was also tabbed as the top player in the state of Georgia and 10th-best in the Southeast Region...Represented her home state in the Junior Davis/Fed Cup from 2002-07...Also was a member of the Southern Section squad at the Mills Redgrave Challenge in 2005 and 2006...Claimed the Peach State Classic title, represented the Southern Section in the Girls 18 Fed Cup and received the "Silver Ball" at Spring Supernationals during 2006...Also earned rankings as high as No. 4 in the nation in 16-and-under doubles, and No. 35 in the country for 18-and-under singles...Was a member of the Leadership, Interact and Latin clubs, as well as the Yearbook Advisory Board at Wheeler H.S.
