"Coming off some setbacks last year Sarah is determined to pick up where she left off at the end of the spring training where we saw much more consistency in her training. She has thus far lived up to her commitment and has been showing a lot of promise this fall and I believe we are in for some fast swimming from Sarah this year."

2003-04: Swam in the 50y freestyle, 100y freestyle, 200y freestyle and 100y butterfly in her freshman campaign on Rocky Top...Also was a part of three relay squads...Helped the team to a pair of third-place showings against Florida....Swam the anchor leg in the 200y medley relay and the first leg in the 200y freestyle relay...Also was the anchor leg swimmer in the 400y freestyle relay squad that took fifth place in the victory over Ohio State...Clocked a trio of career-best times at the SEC Championships...Finished the 100y butterfly in 1:03.65, the 100y freestyle in 56:10 and the 200y freestyle in 1:57.72.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four varsity letters at Phillips Exeter Academy and served as team captain one season...Led squad to the 2000 and 2001 New England Championships in swimming...Was a two-time New England gold medallist in the 200y freestyle over her junior and senior seasons...Additionally, she notched a pair of third-place efforts in the 500y freestyle over her sophomore season at the regional meet...Was a member of the U.S. Virgin Islands National Team...Participated on the rowing team for one season...Was the head of the prom committee and a member of the student activities committee at PEA...Taught swim lessons while in St. Croix...Graduated with high honors from Phillips Exeter.
