2009-10: Swam a leg of the fourth-place 400y free relay and was a part of the 200y and 800y free relay squads that captured fifth at the SEC Championships...Her 50y free time of 23.17 at the SEC Championships ranks 11th on the Lady Vol top performers list...Was runner-up in the 100y free and the 200y free relay at the Tennessee Last Chance Meet...Was a member of 400y free relay squads that had victories against Florida and at LSU...Finished fourth in the 100y free and 200y free against Florida and fifth in the events at Georgia...Had top-five finishes in the 100y and 200y frees at Virginia...Placed fourth in the 100y free against Kentucky and at LSU...Added fifth-place finishes in the 200y free against South Carolina and at Louisville...Named to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Holds 10 of 11 swimming records at Fauquier High School...Was an eight-time All-American and eight-time district and regional champion from 2005-08...Captured the state championship and was named team MVP in 2005...As a member of QDD Swim Team she competed at numerous national events, including the 2006 U.S. Open and Junior Nationals in the summers of 2006 and 2007.

PERSONAL: Majoring in accounting...In addition to her athletic achievements, she excelled academically in high school...Earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-America honors as well as the Northwestern District All-Academic Award...Her biggest thrill in swimming was winning the 2007 Ladies Team Virginia Championship title...Has one sister, Stephanie, 23, who swam for Sweet Briar College in Virginia...Caitlin Leigh Perks, daughter of John and Dawn Perks, was born April 27, 1990, in Rochester, N.Y.
