2008-09: Rewrote the UT record books in the backstroke events during her rookie season, while also earning All-America honors in five events...Swam a leg on the third-place 200y medley relay (1:36.82) at the NCAA Championships and was also a member of the All-American 400y medley (8th), 400y free relay (12th), and 200y free relay (13th)... 200y medley relay set the Lady Vol record and was the highest-placing relay at NCAAs in UT history...400y medley relay (3:32.61) also set school record in the prelims...Won the `B' final of the 100y back at NCAAs, placing ninth overall to earn her first individual All-America award...Also competed in the 200y back at the national championships...Finished runner-up in the 100y back (51.34) and was 10th in the 200y back (1:54.51) at the Southeastern Conference Championships, shattering the UT record in both events...Finished sixth in the 100y fly at SECs with a time of 52.83 that made her the second fastest Lady Vol ever in the event...Earned All-SEC Second Team accolades and was named to the conference's All-Freshman Team...Captured the Lady Vol Athlete of the Week award on Feb. 23 after her phenomenal SEC Meet...Tallied a team-best 19 NCAA-cut individual performances...Snagged first in the 100y back, 100y fly and on the 200y medley relay in the near upset of No. 1 Georgia...Took first in four events (200y FR, 200y MR, 400y MR and 100y fly) at the Indiana quad meet...Won the 100y back and 400y medley relay at the Tennessee Swimming Invitational...Owned first-place in both backstrokes against Louisville and Kentucky...Won the 200y back and the 100y fly at Arkansas/Vanderbilt tri-meet...Was named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.

NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL: Snagged first-place in the `B' final heat of the 100m back at the 2009 ConocoPhillips USA National Championships in July to place ninth overall with a career-best time of 1:00.69...Her performance tied for the third-fastest at the championships...Also placed second in the `C' final of the 100m fly in a career-best 1:00.16... Made it to the semifinals in the 100m backstroke, placing 11th in 1:01.69, at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials...Also placed 53rd in the 100m fly (1:01.11)... Competed for U.S. team at Japan International Grand Prix in August 2007, where she placed eighth in the 100m back.

HIGH SCHOOL: Won Indiana state championships in the 100y backstroke for the last three years and in the 100y fly the past two years...Is a 10-time All-American...
