HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Banks High School, where she earned four varsity letters in softball, three in soccer and one apiece in basketball and volleyball...As a freshman, Mandie was selected as the Oregon Softball Player of the Year as she led her squad to the state title with a 27-4 record...First-team all-state and all-league choice and was her club's top offensive player all four seasons on the diamond...BHS claimed its league's crown four straight times, including marks of 27-2 in 2000, 25-3 in '01 and 23-4 in '02...Honored as her conference's Most Valuable Player in both 1999 and 2002...Finished with a career batting average of .630, totaled 152 runs batted in and swiped 98 bases...Belted a career-high 10 homers in her debut season...Recognized as a Scholar-Athlete all four years of her high school tenure...Member of the Auction Committee and youth group, and helped organize a blood drive.
