AS A SOPHOMORE (2012):
Has played in 44 games with 34 starts in the outfield, hitting .321 overall with two doubles, a triple, seven HR's and 26 RBIs...Is hitting .588 (10-for-17) with four HR's and 10 RBIs over Tennessee's last eight match-ups...Hit a pair of HR's in a contest for the third time this season by going 2-for-2 with a SEC game personal high five RBIs as Tennessee rolled past Ole Miss (4/28), 9-0 (5 inn.)...Blasted two HR's in a single game for the second time in 2012, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two HR's and four RBIs in the series-opening 8-0 (5 inn.) victory at South Carolina (4/20)...Delivered a pinch-hit, two-RBI single in the 9-1 (5 inn.) rout at Auburn (4/6)...Walked and singled during the 5-3 loss to Kentucky (3/30)...Tripled and scored twice as Tennessee swept its series at MSU with an 8-0 (5 inn.) triumph in the finale...Knocked in a pair of tallies as UT rolled by Mississippi State (3/23), 8-0 (5 inn.)...Went 2-for-3 with a double and a RBI in the 3-2 (11 inn.) loss at #1 Alabama (3/21)...Was hit by two pitches during the 8-0 (5 inn.) rout of Arkansas (3/16)...Blasted a two-run, pinch-hit HR during UT's 7-0 rout of Georgia Southern (3/13)...Walked with the bags packed in the second inning of the 6-0 win over Illinois State (2/25)...Was credited with an RBI via a first-inning, bases loaded walk during the 10-7 win over Illinois (2/17)...Led the Lady Vols in hitting while starting all six contests during the Kajikawa Classic, hitting .417 overall (5-for-12) with a double, two HR's and six RBIs...Recorded her first collegiate two-HR effort, a career-high six RBIs and three runs scored and reached all four times she stepped to the plate (two walks) in helping UT rally past Western Michigan (2/12), 9-6...Was 1-for-2 with a run scored in the comeback 6-5 win over San Diego State (2/11)...Blasted a double and also walked against #4 Cal's All-American pitcher Jolene Henderson (2/10)...Singled in her initial at-bat of 2012 in the second inning against UCSB (2/9).
AS A FRESHMAN (2011):
Davin hit .306 overall over 43 games played (31 starts at either first base, third base or DP) with 17 runs scored, two doubles, a triple, three home runs and 17 RBIs...Registered seven multi-hit and five multi-RBI efforts in 2011...Picked up a nod as the SEC Freshman of the Week on April 11 after hitting .500 (7-for-14) with two doubles, a triple, a HR and six RBIs as Tennessee went 5-0 at #2 Georgia and Ole Miss...Posted a 2-for-3 performance as UT topped #19 Georgia Tech (5/21) in NCAA Knoxville Regional action, 7-0...Recorded singles in games at #4 Florida (5/8) and versus #22 Kentucky (SEC Tournament Quarterfinal on 5/12)...Was a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBIs as Tennessee crushed Arkansas (11-1, 6 inn. on 4/29)...Blasted the game-winning, two-run HR in the fifth inning as the Lady Vols topped Mississippi State (4/21), 2-0...Knocked in a run as part of a 2-for-2 performance and walked once during a 9-1 (5 inn.) win over Radford (4/19)...Hit .375 (3-for-8) with three RBIs in the series sweep at Ole Miss (4/8-4/10)...Had a breakout offensive effort during the high-profile DH at #2 Georgia (4/6), posting two RBIs via a HR in the opener, before just missing hitting for the cycle in the finale by going 3-for-4 with a double, triple and an RBI...Made her lone at-bat against South Carolina count, coming off the bench with Tennessee trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning and securing a clutch, two-out pinch-hit single to right to dead-lock the contest in an eventual 5-4 UT victory...Knocked in a run via a base hit in UT's 10-0 rout of Kentucky (3/12)...Delivered her first HR of the campaign as part of a 2-for-2, three-RBI performance in an 18-0 (5 inn.) whitewash of ETSU (2/15).
HIGH SCHOOL:
A native of Clovis, Calif., Davin demonstrated her impressive softball capabilities by breaking every major offensive school record under the direction of coach Meagan Simmons at Clovis East H.S...The right-handed slugger concluded her senior campaign in 2010 with a .537 avg., 51 hits, 32 runs scored, eight doubles, six triples, 13 RBIs, 27 stolen bases and an .811 slugging percentage on her way to being tabbed as Cal-Hi Sports First Team All-State in California...She posted a .459 batting average, a .776 slugging percentage, two doubles, five triples, five home runs and 20 RBIs as a junior in being chosen as the 2009 Tri-River Athletic Conference (TRAC) Player of the Year...In 2009 she also set a Central California CIF record by starting the season a perfect 15-for-15 at the plate...Davin was also selected All-TRAC in 2010 and was named a member of the 2009 and 2010 Fresno Bee Softball All-Star Team...A three-time Cal-Hi Sports All-State (2008, 2009, 2010), three-time all-county (2008, 2009, 2010) and four-time all-league selection (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010), Davin served as a team captain for four years on the Clovis East varsity softball squad while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA in the classroom...In club action, Davin set the Orange County Batbusters 16U home run record for Doug Myers' team and later moved on to play for Gary Haning's prestigious OC Batbusters Gold 18U squad...With her 16U team, Davin played a part in a 2009 Southern California State Championship as well as the title at the 2009 Boulder Louisville Slugger Tournament in Boulder, Colo.
