AS A SOPHOMORE (2006): Led the Lady Vols in scoring for the second straight year with 25 points on 10 goals and five assists...Became just the third UT player to lead the team in scoring in consecutive years...Named to the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Season and the Soccer Buzz All-Central Region Second Team...Was named the Lady Vols' first SEC Offensive Player of the Year after tallying six goals and three assists in helping UT to a tie for second place in the Eastern Division...Finished the season tied for 10th all-time at Tennessee with six career game-winning goals...Her three game winners all came in crucial matches for the Lady Vols - at No. 20 Florida, in overtime against Vanderbilt and in the first round of the SEC Tournament win over Auburn...Rossi's 83 total shots and 36 shots on goal led the Orange and White in 2006...Earned SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors (10/2) after notching both goals in the 2-1 win at Florida...Was named to the First Tennessee Lady Vol Classic All-Tournament Team after posting 18 shots over two games...Tied for the team's longest point scoring streak in 2006 with points in five consecutive games from Oct.15-Nov.1...Scored multiple goals in three games last year, finding the back of the net against the Gators, in a win over Alabama and in the SEC Tournament win over AU...During the spring of 2007, Rossi earned a spot on the U.S. Under-21 Women's National Team for a trip to England...The squad faced off against the top women's club teams in England...Rossi earned one start while playing in four matches...She finished the trip with two goals, scoring once in a win over Blackburn Rovers Ladies and again in a victory against Everton.
AS A FRESHMAN (2005): Led the Lady Vols with eight goals and 20 points on the year and ranked third on the team with four assists...Picked by Soccer Buzz as a finalist for its Freshman of the Year award while receiving a spot on the publication's Freshman All-America Second Team and its All-Central Region Third Team...Garnered a spot on Soccer America's All-Freshman Second Team and on Top Drawer Soccer's All-Rookie Team...Also named third-team All-Central Region by the NSCAA/adidas...Earned a spot on both the Soccer Buzz Central Region and SEC All-Freshman Teams...Nabbed second-team All-SEC accolades, as well, after scoring four goals and dishing out three assists in league action...Scored her first career goal in the season opener against No. 1 North Carolina...Became just the seventh player in program history to score her first collegiate goal in their debut in the Orange and White...Found the back of the net with 11 seconds to go to propel the Lady Vols to a 1-0 win over No. 6 Virginia for her first career game-winner...Soccer America and the SEC showered the rookie with honors, as Rossi was named to SA's Team of the Week along with conference offensive player and freshman of the week certificates...Tallied her first collegiate assist in a 1-0 win over Mississippi...Assisted on both goals in the 2-1 win over archrival No. 11 Florida...Named Lady Vol Athlete of the Week on Oct. 5...Found the net against LSU in the first round of the SEC Tournament to lead the Big Orange to a 2-0 win...Finished with a goal and an assist in the NCAA Tournament first round win over No. 25 Wake Forest...Played in all 23 matches for the Lady Vols, including 20 starts, which tied for tops among freshmen.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Completed an outstanding prep career at The Pennington School in Pennington, N.J....A 2004 NSCAA/adidas Youth and Parade Magazine All-American and a two-time New Jersey Prep School Player of the Year (2003, 2004), Rossi was a multiple-time selection to both the N.J. Prep All-State and N.J. High School Coaches Association All-State teams and was an Associated Press N.J. All-State Second Team choice in 2002...Finished her high school career with 98 goals and 64 assists...The Times named Kylee as its 2005 Female Athlete of the Year...Her 2004 squad completed the season as the NJISAA Prep "A" State Champions with a 16-3-1 record...On a club level as a member of the Langhorne/Pennsylvania Strikers, she was a part of two USYSA Region 1 Championship Teams and two finalist squads as well as a participant on the 1999 Nike Cup Championship team...Rossi spent time as a member of the United States U17 Women's National Team...She was also on the ODP U19 Region 1 squad and on the Eastern (Pa.) State ODP team from 1998-2005...A four-sport star at Pennington, Rossi also picked up Prep "B" State titles as a member of the school's basketball, softball and lacrosse teams.
