AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Was chosen second team All-SEC...Rated #5 on Top Drawer Soccer's list of its Top 20 SEC Players of 2011 and #67 on the organization's ranking of its Top 100 National Players of 2011...Finished first on the Lady Vols in both assists (eight) and match-winners (six) and second in goals (11) and points (30) while starting all 22 matches at forward...Of her 14 career goals over 40 contests played, a staggering eight of them have served as match-winners...On Oct. 9, joined Emily Dowd in becoming the first Lady Vol duo to record double-figure goal totals in the same campaign since 1998 and only the second such scoring duo in UT annals...Completed the season tied for eighth in points and assists and dead-locked for 10th in goals in Big Orange single-season history...Registered one of Tennessee's three shots on frame while playing 70 minutes during the first NCAA Tournament action of her career in the loss to Ohio State (11/12)...Beat Georgia (10/29) by blasting home a bad UGA clearance at the 49:41 mark of the Big Orange's 2-0 win...Picked up her eighth assist of the year on Amy Harrison's match-winner just 2:33 into the 2-0 victory over #22 Auburn (10/23)...Recorded five shots in each match at Kentucky (10/14) and Vanderbilt (10/16)...Blasted home the crucial tying goal at 79:53 (her 10th) and also dished a helper as Tennessee rallied from a three-goal deficit to record a stunning, 4-3 (OT) victory over Ole Miss (10/7)...Picked up her sixth assist of the year via Dowd's match-winner just 6:44 in and scored herself at 69:22 to finalize the offensive onslaught during the 4-0 rout at Arkansas (10/2)...Assisted on scores by Dowd (22:37) and Alexis Owens (85:11) as UT powered past #6 Florida, 4-2 (9/25)...Blasted home the tying goal during the 54th minute of the eventual 2-1 (2OT) loss to South Carolina (9.23)...Set the tone just 4:04 into the 4-0 victory over Coastal Carolina (9/16) by beating her defender near the right endline and scoring from seven yards out...Continued her incredible early season offensive production by registering her second two-goal effort of the year, including the eventual winner just 1:51 in, during the 5-0 rout of Charlotte (9/9)...Picked up her initial two-assist game at Rocky Top by delivering perfect feeds from the left wing to the back post for both Dowd goals during the 2-0 win over Middle Tennessee (9/2) and in the process surpassed her entire 2010 point output in just five matches in 2011...Also did stellar work inside the 18-yard box versus MTSU to earn a penalty kick call at 70:16...Needed just four contests to surpass her goal tally from 19 contests as a freshman in 2010 (three goals, eight points)...Was chosen to the First Tennessee Classic All-Tournament Team...Scored her second penalty kick of the campaign at 34:16 of the match against #18 Texas A&M (8/28) as her try from the spot hit the Aggie keeper before caroming on into the twine as the eventual winning score...Tantalizingly hit the left post with a 22-yard drive at 20:21 of the eventual 2-1 loss to #8 UCLA (8/26)...For her match-winning efforts at Kansas and Oklahoma, Brown was honored as the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week as well as one of just eight national "Primetime Performers of the Week" by CollegeSoccer360.com...Proved deadly at Oklahoma (8/21), hurting the Sooners with her first career two-goal match via scores at 59:45 (match-winner) and 65:38 as UT rolled past OU, 3-1... AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Saw action in the midfield in 18 matches with one start versus #24 Arizona State (9/10)...Ranked fourth on the Lady Vol squad with eight points on three goals and two assists, while recording 22 total shots, 10 on frame...Fired a pair of shots on frame in 60 minutes of work during the 1-0 (OT) loss to LSU (11/4) in the SEC Tournament quarterfinal...Drew 39 minutes of action in the midfield during the 2-1 win over Georgia (10/29)...Was chosen as the SEC Freshman of the Week for her match-winning heroics at Mississippi State (10/8) and Ole Miss (10/10), despite not starting either contest...Made it two match-winning tallies in a row by scoring at 23:06 to break a tie during the Big Orange's eventual 3-1 triumph at Ole Miss (10/10)...Scored her first career SEC goal and, in the process, her initial "golden goal" at 102:22 of UT's 1-0 (2OT) win at Mississippi State (10/8)...Recorded an assist on Emily Dowd's second goal during the 8-0 rout of Chattanooga (9/19)...Was credited with her first career assist on Dowd's goal at 23:18 of the match at #24 ASU...Drew her first collegiate action as a sub and scored her first career goal at 69:42 during the season-opening, 3-0 win over Western Kentucky (8/20).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: A midfielder out of Hershey, Pa., Brown arrived at Tennessee with numerous accolades in tow, finishing her interscholastic career at Hershey H.S. with a school-record 93 career goals...Reaped a No. 58 ranking in Top Drawer Soccer's 2010 National Top 100 Girls and a No. 2 nod on the organization's Region I listings, respectively, as well as a rating as a four-star "Player to Watch"...Was chosen as one of ESPN/RISE Magazine's Top 2010 Players in the state of Pennsylvania and picked up a selection to the 2010 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Girls High School All-America Team as a forward...Helped lead Hershey High School to four consecutive Keystone Division titles, the 2008 & 2010 Mid-Penn Conference championships, the 2009 Pennsylvania State semifinals (21-3-1 and NSCAA rating of No. 19) and the 2010 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) AAA State Championship (over Cumberland Valley) with a 27-1 record and No. 3 national NSCAA ranking...During her senior campaign, Brown was chosen to the 2010 NSCAA Pennsylvania All-State Team, reaped her third career selection to the Patriot News' "Big 11" Team (2008, 2009, 2010) while being selected as both the Mid-Penn Conference and Keystone Division Player of the Year...She reaped 2009 NSCAA/adidas High School Girls All-Region II Team status as well as nods to the ESPN/RISE All-American Team as an honorable mention choice, to the Pennsylvania State Coaches Association (PSCA) All-State Team and was named as the Keystone Division Player of the Year after a junior season that saw her tally a staggering 29 goals and 12 assists...Brown was tabbed three times as a Mid-Penn Conference First Team All-Star (2008, 2009, 2010)...She participated with the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) Olympic Development Program (ODP) (2003-08) and Region I ODP (2007-08) teams and at the adidas ESP camp in California (2008)...Among the numerous titles she has won as part of the Hershey Attack Soccer Club are 2004, 2007 and 2009 State Cup Championships, the 2006 Region I title, the 2009 Disney College Showcase and Discovery Cup titles and the 2006 Region I Premier League crown...At Hershey H.S. Brown was a member of both the National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society and the Distinguished Honor Roll...She also received the school's "Most Athletic Girl" and the Marine Corps' Distinguished Student-Athlete awards.
