"Ariana has been unfazed by the hurdles encountered in making the big transition from high school rowing to Division I collegiate rowing. I expect her to take on more everyday and fill a larger role on the team. When she decides to move beyond her comfort zone, she'll see that she can accomplish much more, which is exciting."

FALL 2002: Helped propel her crew to first place in the Championship 4+ race at the Head of the Tennessee...Also rowed for UT in the Championship 4+ at the Chattanooga Head Race and Club 4+ at the Head of the Chattahoochee, placing seventh in both events...

Graduated from T.C. Williams H.S. in 2002, lettering in rowing each of her four prep years...Became the first student-athlete in her school's history to receive four varsity rowing letters...Served as team captain during her junior and senior seasons...Team claimed victory at the Stotesbury Cup in Philadelphia her senior year...Also active in the Key Club...
