Emily Boyer                  Class: Junior Hometown: Powell, Tenn. High School: Powell Experience: HS

AT TENNESSEE: FALL 2010: Took home a bronze medal in the Collegiate 2- at the Chattanooga Head Race...Also finished sixth as a member of the Collegiate 8+ shell at the CHR...Member of the C8+ boat which finished 21st at the Head of the Hooch Regatta on Nov. 6.

2009-10: Member of the Novice 8+ boat for most of her freshman campaign...Took home a fifth-place finish in the A final of the SIRA Regatta on April 17...Also part of the shell that finished fifth in the petite final at the 2010 South/Central Aramark Sprints...Posted second-place finishes against Dartmouth and Alabama on March 27.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Powell High School in Powell, Tenn., in 2009

PERSONAL: Majoring in kinesiology...Has played the piano for 14 years...Emily Rebecca Boyer, the daughter of Diane and Daryl Boyer, was born in Livermore, Calif., on Oct. 20, 1990.
