Lifted the V4+ to a strong regular-season finish at No. 7 Princeton... Rowed with the 2V8+ at Michigan... Helped the 2V8+ to a fifth-place finish in the petite finals of the San Diego Crew Classic... Rowed in 2V8+ at Oak Ridge Invitational, taking one gold and two silver medals... Also in 2V8+, defeated Central Florida on Lake Pickett... Won gold in Club 8 at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta... Finished seventh in the Collegiate 4 and eighth in the Collegiate 8 at the Chattanooga Head Race... Finished eighth in the Championship 8 at the Head of the Hooch Regatta...

Graduated from Oak Ridge High School... Rowed starboard at Atomic Rowing... Rowed bow seat in the 4+ at the Chattanooga Head Race, as well as 5 seat in the 8+... Rowed in Atomic Rowing's club 8 at the Head of the Charles... Raced in both the 8+ and 4+ at the Secret City Head Race and Head of the Hooch regattas... Won the Coaches Award in 2010 with Atomic Rowing, was freshman all-district in 2007 in soccer, first all-district in 2008-2009, and first team all-region soccer in 2009... Was a member of the National Honor Society...

PERSONAL:
Majoring in Journalism and Electronic Media... After graduating, she strives to make movies, primarily documentaries... What she loves most about rowing at Tennessee is the atmosphere, location, and competitiveness of the team... She loves the school because there is orange everywhere and the people are friendly... Outside of rowing, Maddie's biggest accomplishment was her regional soccer game in 2009 versus Bearden High in double overtime, and winning second place in a video competition...
