Whether coxed or not, large boat or small, Sara will handle the situation smoothly. Once Sara gets further acclimated to the program, I expect her stabilizing influence to evolve into a more commanding role within the boat. This kind of transition is very exciting to make and to coach. I'm looking forward to it."
AT TENNESSEE:
FALL 2005: Started the season with a fourth-place finish in the Championship Eight shell at the Chattanooga Head Race...Teamed with fellow freshman Kate Brownlee to claim silver in Open Two at the same event...Was the only freshman on the first-place Championship 8+ and second-place Varsity 4- squads at the Head of the Tennessee...Took home third place in the Championship Eight at the Head of the Hooch...Part of the top Lady Vol shell at the Rivanna Romp, as her crew finished fourth in the Championship 8+ race...

Graduated from Torrey Pines High School in 2005...Was on the National Honor Roll and Principal's Honor Roll...Participated on the varsity rowing team at Torrey Pines...Quad team was southwest regional champion on three occasions...Notched fourth-place finishes as part of the San Diego Rowing Club in 2004 and 2005 at the Youth Invites in Cincinnati, Ohio...
