DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Former Lady Vol golfer Angela Oh made the cut on day four of the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament on Saturday at LPGA International golf course, and will battle for an LPGA card during the final round on Sunday.

Oh fired a 2-under, 70 on Saturday and is tied for 44th with a total score of 72-71-74-70=287 (-1). The top 40 players receive an LPGA card.

The top 20 players will earn Priority in Category 11 LPGA memberships. Players finishing 21st through 30th will receive Priority in Category 16, while players finishing between 31st and 40th places will earn Priority in Category 20.

In addition to Oh, former Tennessee women's golfers Young-A Yang, Jessica Shepley and Violeta Retamoza all competed at the LPGA Qualifying event, but did not make the cut. Of the 140-person field only 70 made the cut and will play Sunday.

Shepley carded a 2-under 70 for the fourth round and finished with a total score of 76-73-78-70=297 (+9) to tie for 105th.

Current volunteer assistant coach Yang tied for 110th with a total score of 70-80-75-73=298 (+10), while Retamoza finished 137th with a total score of 77-82-71-77=307 (+19).

Former Arkansas All-American Stacy Lewis sits atop the leaderboard at 15-under (273) one stroke ahead of Michelle Wie.

Yang and Retamoza have both been regulars on the LPGA Tour over the last few years, while Shepley already earned her LPGA card by finishing seventh on the 2008 Duramed FUTURES Tour money list.

Oh is looking to make the LPGA for the first time, after playing two years for Tennessee.

The four women are some of the most decorated Lady Vol golfers of all-time. They hold four of the top six lowest career scoring averages in UT history and each earned All-America or All-SEC honors while at Rocky Top.
