KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Fresh from completing one of the most prolific seasons in Lady Vol golf history, sophomore Nathalie Mansson collected her second All-America award of the 2009-10 campaign earlier this week, as Golfweek named the Stockholm, Sweden, native a Second Team selection.

Mansson also captured NGCA Second Team All-America honors last month at the National Golf Coaches Association end-of-season banquet after the 2010 NCAA Championships in Wilmington, N.C.

She becomes a two-time Golfweek All-American, having earned honorable mention accolades as a freshman in 2008-09.

Mansson's recognition comes on the heels of a record-breaking season that saw the All-SEC First Team performer set new single-season marks for the Lady Vols in stroke average and rounds of par or better.

She wrapped up her second season in Orange and White with a stroke average of 73.0588 to edge past Young-A Yang's mark of 73.0625 set in 2000-01.

Mansson fired a 1-under 71 on the last day of the national championship tournament to give herself 16 par or better rounds on the season, breaking Violeta Retamoza's record of 15 set in 2004-05.

She finished the season with eight top-10 finishes and the second-best final round average (71.17) in the country. Mansson won two tournaments in 2009-10, the Merces-Benz Collegiate Championships and the Alamo Invitational, and also nabbed All-Region honors.
