The win today...

  • Improves Tennessee to 16-1 on the season, 3-0 in the SEC
  • Gives Pat Summitt a career record of 929-178 in her 33rd season at UT
  • Gives UT a 37-14 lead in the series with Georgia, including five straight victories over the Bulldogs
  • Gives UT an overall record of 366-146 against ranked opponents, including a 7-1 mark this season
  • Gives UT its 10th straight victory this season

Notes...

  • The 25 first half points tie the fewest by UT this season. The Lady Vols scored 25 at North Carolina as well.

Sidney Spencer...

  • Eclipsed the 400-rebound plateau for her career, making her just the fifth Lady Vol of all time to amass 400+ rebounds and 100+ three-pointers (others were Kara Lawson, Tamika Catchings, Abby Conklin and Tasha Butts)
  • Took the foul shots for a technical on the opponent bench for the second time this season. She is now 3-of-4 from the line in those situations.

Candace Parker...

  • Posted double-doubles in all three meetings against Georgia during her freshman year, averaging 23.7 points and 12.0 rebounds in those contests.
  • Extended her streak of games in double figures to 31, despite the fact that she did not score until the clock read 1:39 left in the first half, when she connected on both free throw attempts. Her first field goal game at 12:15 left in the second half.
  • Tied a season high in assists (4)

Nicky Anosike...

  • Grabbed her 500th career rebound (502 total), becoming the 33rd Lady Vol of all time to eclipse that mark.
  • Scored in double figures for the fourth time this season, the 18th time of her career

Alexis Hornbuckle...

  • Extended her streak of games with a steal to 53. She has made at least one steal in 74 of 81 career games.
  • Scored in double figures for the seventh time this season, the 29th time in her career.

Alex Fuller...

  • Grabbed a career-high-tying eight rebounds
