2005-06: For the second straight season, Dosty led the team in field goal percentage (61.5)... The most efficient player on the floor, she averaged .3 rebounds per minute of play... She scored a career-high 12 points against Army in the first round of the NCAAs on March 19... Tied the team-best eight rebounds against Arkansas... Added seven points, two steals and an assist in just 15 minutes of action against the Razorbacks... Tied a then-career-high in field goals made against Mississippi State, connecting on four of her five attempts in just 11 minutes of action... Continues to make the most of her time on the floor... In just five minutes of playing time against Connecticut, Dosty scored six points, grabbed four rebounds and stuffed one Huskie attempt... Named the Philips Player of the Game at Temple after a nine-point, six-rebound performance against the Owls... She added two assists and a steal in 18 minutes of action... Registered a career-high three blocks to go along with seven rebounds and four points in the NCAA Tournament opening-round win versus Western Carolina... Equaled a career high with 11 rebounds in the triumph against Kentucky... Came up big in the comeback victory over DePaul, recording her first career double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds in just 14 minutes of action off the bench... Earned the Phillips Player of the Game honors for her effort.

HIGH SCHOOL: A product of Tucson, Ariz., Dosty comes to Rocky Top after a stellar 2003-04 senior campaign, in which she was dubbed the Gatorade Arizona Women's Basketball Player of the Year...Selected to play in the 2004 adidas All-America game...The honors were numerous for the 6-3 center, as she was an adidas All-American and was also named to the Street and Smith All-America team...Dosty was no stranger to Street and Smith, as she earned All-America Honorable Mention accolades in her first three seasons at Salpointe, 2001-03...Was named the 2004 Player of the Year by both the Tucson Citizen and the Arizona Informant...Was both the Southern Arizona Player of the Year and the Arizona Preps Player of the Year...Attended the Nike All-America Camp in 2001...Was selected Student Sports Junior All-American and was a Freshman All-American for Street and Smith ...Was First Team All-State 2001-2003, earning All-Conference Player of the Year honors in 2002 and 2003...Averaged 27 ppg and grabbed 11.3 rpg in 109 games at the high school level.

NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL: Was invited to the USA Basketball Women's Junior National Team tryouts, along with Lady Vol teammates Candace Parker and Nicky Anosike... Played for the Arizona Elite Club Traveling team which was ranked fifth in the nation.

PERSONAL: Sybil is currently enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences college...Earned AIA Team Honor Roll accolades...Was a student athletic trainer all through high school, while also volunteering at the Santa Maria Nursing home...Hopes to one day play for the WNBA, in fact, in 1997 went to the WNBA's inaugural Joan Bonvicini Hoop Camp, and when asked by Arizona Wildcat reporter Seth Doria, if she planned to watch the WNBA, 10-year-old camper Sybil Dosty replied, "Yes, and I plan on playing for the WNBA, too"...Chose Tennessee over Arizona, Arizona State and Texas Tech, because Tennessee gave her the "Opportunity to play at the highest platform possible and to be given the ability to reach my highest potential"...Has one sister, Whitney, 16...Sybil Louise Dosty was born on August 28, 1986, in Tucson, Ariz.
