Two-time AA Player of the Year in Georgia as well as a member of the All-State first team in 1999...All-State second team member in 1998...Named to the Georgia Terrific 10...Team captain and MVP all four years that she played at Mary Persons...Scored 3,426 points during her career while pulling down 1,320 boards and dishing out over 1,000 career assists...Averaged 26.5 points and 20 rebounds per game over her four years...Broke the Mary Persons High School career scoring record...Member of four-time sub-region and one-time region basketball champions in high school...A multi-sport athlete, LaToya also lettered four years in track and three years in softball...State champion and record holder in 300m low hurdles as well as a school record holder in the triple jump...Recipient of the Bob Fowler Award for track while at Mary Persons...Netted career high of 38 points against Upson-Lee during her senior season (1999-00)... NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL: LaToya played AAU basketball for the Georgia Dream Team alongside fellow Tennessee signee Tasha Butts...Member of squad coached by Guy Coleman, which won the Georgia State AAU Championship.
PERSONAL: LaToya is majoring in psychology at the University of Tennessee... ...Says her biggest thrill in her sport so far cutting down the nets at Iowa State after earning a spot in the 2002 NCAA Final Four...
