Tennessee won its third consecutive SEC Tournament title but advancing to an NCAA Final Four was thwarted by a loss to eventual 2012 NCAA Champion Baylor in the Elite Eight at the Des Moines Regional.
Senior Glory Johnson earned both Capital One Academic and WBCA All-America honors while rookie Ariel Massengale was named to the USBWA All-Freshman Team. Four Lady Vols were taken in the WNBA draft with a record three in the first round - Shekinna Stricklen (#2 overall by Seattle), Johnson (#4 by Tulsa) and Kelley Cain (#7 by New York) while Vicki Baugh was the 25th overall pick to Tulsa.
2010-11 Season

The Lady Vols topped Kentucky to claim the SEC Tournament crown but their NCAA Championship hopes were halted with a loss in the Elite Eight at the NCAA Dayton Regional.
Shekinna Stricklen earned All-America laurels and Angie Bjorklund was selected with the 17th overall pick in the WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky.
2009-10 Season
Record: 32-3
SEC Finish: 15-1
Postseason: Sweet 16
Coach: Pat Summitt (36th season)
The Lady Vols put together an impressive season in the Southeastern Conference, winning the SEC regular season title and taking the conference tournament crown but Tennessee's season ended early as the Big Orange fell in the Sweet Sixteen at the NCAA Memphis Regional.
Angie Bjorlund and Shekinna Stricklen garnered All-America honors from the Associated Press; three Lady Vols earned All-SEC recognition.
2008-09 Season
Record: 22-11
SEC Finish: 9-5
Postseason: NCAA 1st Round
Coach: Pat Summitt (35th season)
The Lady Vols struggled to find consistency on the floor, dropping eight of the last 15 contests on the season. Tennessee was eliminated in the first round of NCAA tournament play in the NCAA Bowling Green Regional.
Despite the season's disappointing end, Shekinna Stricklen was honored as the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Freshman of the Year.
2007-08 Season

The Lady Vols tallied their eighth national title on April 8, 2008, topping Stanford 64-48 in the NCAA Championship game. Tennessee also won the SEC Tournament title en route to the national championship.
Candace Parker nabbed her third-consecutive State Farm All-America distinction to cap the championship season.
2006-07 Season

Tennessee played solid basketball, capturing the SEC regular season crown. On April 3, 2007 the Lady Vols captured their seventh national title with a 59-46 win over Rutgers.
2005-06 Season
Record: 31-5

Coach: Pat Summitt (32nd season)
The Lady Vols opened the season on an 18-game win streak, not losing a game until January. Tennessee won the SEC Tournament, but lost in NCAA Cleveland Regional final.
