HEATHER MASON

Heather Mason enters her 14th year in the strength and conditioning profession and her seventh year as the head strength and conditioning coach for the women's athletics department, responsible for the Lady Volunteer strength, speed and conditioning programs. She was promoted to assistant athletics director for strength and conditioning in 2008 and in May 2009, she was named Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC) by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. This honor is the highest given in the strength and conditioning coaching profession.
Mason attained a bachelors of science in biology from the University of Cincinnati and was a four year letter winner and captain for the Cincinnati Bearcat Volleyball team. During her undergraduate studies, she earned Great Midwest Conference All-Academic team honors. In 1998, Mason graduated with a master of education degree in sports administration from Xavier (Ohio) University, and completed the Sports Management Institute Executive Program in 2003. She is certified by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. The Wheelersburg, Ohio, native came to Tennessee after a five-year stint at the University of Notre Dame and two years at her alma mater, Cincinnati.

COLLIN SCHLOSSER

Collin Schlosser is in his seventh year with the Lady Vol strength and conditioning staff. His responsibilities include creating and implementing strength, speed and conditioning programs for the Lady Vols. A 2000 graduate of Miami (Ohio) University with a bachelor's degree in exercise science, Schlosser also earned a master's degree in developmental kinesiology from Bowling Green State University in 2002. A native of Napoleon, Ohio, he has been certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the National Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, and he is a 2008 graduate of the Sports Management Executive Institute. |

HOLLY FRANTZ
Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach |
Holly Frantz is entering her first year as an assistant for the Lady Vol strength and conditioning staff. Her responsibilities include creating and implementing strength, speed and conditioning programs for the Lady Volunteers.
The Grand Rapids, Ohio, native joined the Lady Vol staff after working at Xavier University as a full-time assistant in the strength and conditioning program for four years. While with the Musketeers, Frantz worked primarily with women's basketball, volleyball, women's soccer, as well as men's and women's tennis and golf teams. Prior to her time at Xavier, she worked at the University of Notre Dame as a strength and conditioning intern working with men's and women's tennis, golf, and rowing.
Frantz was a graduate assistant in strength and conditioning at her alma mater, Bowling Green State University, where she received both her bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in marketing and her master's degree in education with an emphasis in sport administration.
While at BG, Frantz was a four-year letter winner and captain for the Falcons' softball team. She also was one of 13 female student-athletes in the nation to be awarded an NCAA Women's Enhancement Program postgraduate scholarship. Frantz is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and was certified by the CSCCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach.

SCOTT SAVOR

Scott Savor joined the Lady Vol strength and conditioning staff in 2009. In 2001, Savor earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science and a minor in coaching from Minnesota State University Moorhead, Moorhead, MN. Previously, Savor was the human performance specialist at Sports + Field, Wesley Chapel, FL, head strength and conditioning coach at the University of Detroit Mercy and a member of the strength and conditioning staff for the Minnesota Vikings. |

NATHAN STEINMETZ
Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant |
Nathan Steinmetz begins his second year as a graduate assistant for the Lady Vol strength and conditioning staff. Beginning his work with the Lady Vol strength staff as a Student Assistant in January 2006, Nathan jointly finished his degree in Exercise Science at the University of Tennessee and is currently pursuing a Graduate degree in Sports Psychology. Originally from Florissant, Missouri, Nathan spent several years working in strength and conditioning developing and executing training regimes for several sports clubs and fitness associations. He also coached both club soccer and travel softball in addition to working as a certified personal trainer prior to joining the strength department. Nathan is currently pursuing his C.S.C.S from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

GREG STANLEY
Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant |
Greg Stanley begins his second year as a graduate assistant with the Lady Vol strength and conditioning department. Greg received his undergraduate degree from Maryville College in Maryville, TN. He graduated Cum Laude in 2005 with a degree in physical education/wellness with teaching licensure and also played defensive end on the football team. Greg taught physical education for three years before pursuing a master’s degree in exercise physiology. Stanley is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (N.S.C.A.) and has his Health and Fitness Specialist (H.F.S) certification through the American College of Sports Medicine (A.C.S.M).
