It's that time of year again to mark your calendars! The 24th Annual Lady Vol Salute to Excellence is set for Friday, January 20, 2012, at the Knoxville Convention Center. Invitations will be mailed in November and we do not want you to miss out on this great event! Call the Tennessee Fund office at 865-974-5197 and we will add your name to the invite list. This year's event will include a Live and Silent auction featuring exclusive items such as issued team gear and tag-a-long trips with Lady Vol teams, just to name a few.
The annual Salute to Excellence fund raiser, which benefits the Lady Vol Scholarship Fund, is a black tie and tennis shoes event. The evening will begin with a 200-item silent auction and cocktail reception. Guests will then served dinner and treated to a short program. A fantastic live auction is set to follow the program and the evening will wrap up with entertainment provided by one of Knoxville's favorite local bands. Tickets are $125 per guest and all proceeds go directly to the Lady Vol Scholarship Fund, which helps to bring the best student-athletes from throughout the country to UT. There are also co-host opportunities and corporate sponsorships available, for those interested. You can take part in the Salute to Excellence Pre-Auction which includes exclusive Lady Vol guest coach opportunities, Lady Vol tag-a-long trips and reserved seating tickets to cheer the men's basketball team to victory under head coach Cuonzo Martin. There are three ways to place your bid and to be included in these awesome opportunities!
