Rocky Kundert enters his fourth year as the assistant marketing director for group sales for both men's and women's athletics at Tennessee. He previously served as the Lady Vol marketing intern from 1999-2001.
A native of Covina, Calif., previously he spent 2005-06 as the ticket manager and coordinator of marketing at Eastern Washington University. From 2001-2005, Kundert served as the assistant director of marketing for women's sports at Fresno State.
While at Fresno State, his marketing efforts helped the women's basketball team rank 19th in national attendance in 2003 and 22nd in 2004. The volleyball team set a single-match attendance record in 2002 when 4,708 fans attended the match against Hawaii.
Kundert received a bachelor's degree in sport administration in 2001 from Tennessee. He and his wife, Kathleen, live in Knoxville with their daughter, Courtney
