Joe Arnone begins his fourth year with the UTAD as the Assistant Athletics Director of Tickets. Arnone is primarily responsible for directing all aspects of departmental ticket operations, including working closely with the marketing and development offices to promote sales and attendance, guaranteeing compliance with all state, university, NCAA and SEC regulations relating to the ticket office, and handling all postseason services and sales.
Arnone spent two years at the University of Pittsburgh (2004-2006), where he worked closely with the athletic development implementing donor-based seating for both football and men's basketball. He also assisted the athletic marketing department with the development and implementation of ticket promotions.
Arnone spent five years at Wake Forest (1999-2004), where he worked closely with the athletic development office on all ticket-related issues, including ticketing for the Atlantic Coast Conference and NCAA men's basketball tournaments. Arnone additionally played an instrumental role in the hosting of ACC championship events, including two men's soccer tournaments, the women's soccer tournament and women's volleyball tournament. He also handled the ticketing for five NCAA soccer championship events at Wake Forest and the 2000 National Invitation Tournament in men's basketball.
Prior to Wake Forest, Arnone worked at Marshall University for four years (1995-99) as athletic ticket manager and computer specialist. He coordinated tickets for two NCAA I-AA football championship games (1995 and 1996) and assisted the Mid-American Conference in the hosting of two MAC football championship contests, including the inaugural title game in 1997.
From 1993-95, Arnone was the ticket allocation manager for the United States Military Academy. He began his collegiate athletics career at Robert Morris University, where he was a graduate assistant from 1991-93. Arnone earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Merrimack College in Massachusetts in 1988. He earned his M.B.A from Robert Morris in 1993. Arnone is married to the former Linda Tabacjar of Glenshaw, Pa. The couple has two daughters, Nicole (8) and Lauren (6).
