221 UT STUDENT-ATHLETES EARN SPOT ON SPRING HONOR ROLL These honor students account for 41 percent of the student-athletes on campus

The University of Tennessee announced Friday that 221 student-athletes achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher to earn a spot on the Thornton Center Honor Roll for the spring semester. These honor students account for 41 percent of the student-athletes on campus.

"We certainly celebrate and acknowledge the academic achievements of these honor roll student-athletes," said Ruth Darling, provost and director of the Thornton Center. "We are proud to have them represent the university in the classroom and in their sports."
