Camp FAQ's

How do I access my online account?

Click on the following link: Online Customer Account Login

Are there still spots available?

We still have spots available for each camp, however, please get your application in soon. When a camp fills up, we will indicate that it is full on this webpage.

What payment forms do you accept?

Please pay your deposit with a money order or cashiers check made out to the University of Tennessee. We are not set up to receive credit cards, and as of June 1, 2009, we will no longer be able to accept personal checks.

Are there any hotels near campus that have discount rates?

We have contracted with the Alcoa Holiday Inn Express to offer discount rates for our campers and their families. Campers can secure a discounted rate of $69.00 a night by registering online here and entering "Alcoa, TN" for the destination.Select the dates you want to stay and enter the following group code to secure the discounted rate:

For June 14-17 use group code: USB
For June 20-23 use group code: UTS
For July 11-12 use group code: UTC

You can also call the hotel at 865-981-9008, mention you're attending the UT Softball Camp and register over the phone. For more information about the Alcoa Holiday Inn Express, visit their website by clicking here.

The hotel is a short 8-10 minute drive from Sherry Lee Stadium.

What should I bring?

Campers should bring their glove, batting helmet, bat, and batting gloves - please make sure everything is clearly marked. Please bring a set of tennis shoes and your cleats, as there will be areas where cleats are not allowed. There will be a one-hour lunch break where parents can take their kids to a large number of local restaurants or the camper can bring their own sack lunch.

Can parents stay and watch?

Absolutely!

Is the non-refundable deposit really non-refundable?

Yes. Because we hire staff based on the incoming number of applications, we have to be consistent in making the deposits non-refundable. Also, to stay in line with NCAA rules, we must be consistent in having you understand that the deposit is non-refundable. Regardless of making All-Star teams, family circumstances, injury or sickness, it is important that you understand our policy.

If necessary, you can switch summer week sessions (prior to the beginning of the camp you are registered for) and we can accommodate that wish and move the deposit to another week in the summer. The deposit cannot carry over from the summer to the fall camp or to the next summer. Again, NCAA rules and the fact that they are separate camps make it impossible.

Will there be a camp store to purchase UT Softball merchandise?

Yes, a camp store will be located at the field and will be open before, during and following the camp. Campers will be able to purchase a variety of UT softball clothing and merchandise. The store will accept cash, checks and Visa or Mastercards.
