Pat Head Summitt's Basketball Camp

Please check back for registration information.

In the summer of 2009, more than 2,500 up-and-coming young players had the unique opportunity to see what makes Lady Vol basketball special by attending one of the exciting sessions of Pat Head Summitt's Basketball Camp.

The camp is conducted on the beautiful University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville at several sites, including Thompson-Boling Arena, where the Lady Vols play their games and the home of the 1990 NCAA Final Four.

Campers learn from the very best clinicians, including Pat Head Summitt, the architect of an unprecedented eight NCAA Championships, and her Lady Vol staff. More than a dozen former campers have gone on to wear the famous Orange and White uniform of the Lady Vols. It is an opportunity for young players to develop their skills in a championship environment.

The camp has grown in popularity in recent years, and, unfortunately, enrollment is limited. Prospective campers should reserve space early. It is a great learning experience and a lot of fun to compete against talent from all over the United States. Once again last summer, campers from nearly all 50 states, from as far away as California, New York and Hawaii, as well as several foreign countries, came to Knoxville to meet new people, learn new skills and play together.

Coach Summitt stresses hands-on learning with one camp coach for every nine campers. A staff of more than 250 coaches, counselors, officials, ball boys and trainers are on hand to ensure the very best camping experience possible.
