• Attendance is HIGHLY recommended if you have plans to tryout for a 2011-12 positon on the cheer, dance or mascot team.
• Tryout dates have yet to be confirmed due to lack of facility but will definitely be after the Spring Football game that is April 16th.
• Registration for ALL workshops will be on site. No pre-registration is permitted. Proof of Insurance is required for participation along with workshop fee.

2011 Cheer and Mascot Workshop:

When: Sunday, March 20th, 2011
Cheer Workshop from 2 - 5pm & Mascot Workshop 2 - 4 p.m.
Where:Registration 1-2pm at Neyland Thompson Indoor Football Complex (corner of Lake Loudon and Johnny Majors)
Who: Anyone in High School grades 9 - 12 or any on-campus student or transfer student interested in trying out for a UT cheer or mascot team
Cost: $30

Spectators welcome and all cheer inquiries will be addressed at 4:30 p.m.

* Must have proof (MUST BRING COPY) of insurance
* Must also have $30 workshop fee (NO PERSONAL CHECKS) - CASH or MONEY ORDER ONLY made out to UT Spirit
* Please wear tshirt and shorts (no bra tops) and cheer shoes

2011 Dance Workshop:

* Attendance is HIGHLY recommended if you have plans to audition for a 2011-12 position on the dance team. Tryout dates have yet to be confirmed due to lack of facility but will definitely be after the Spring Football game that is April 16th.

REGISTRATION: 1-2pm at - 201 Sherway Road, Knoxville, TN 37922 - Revolution Dance Studio)
WHEN: March 27, 2 - 5pm
MATERIAL: Will learn Hip Hop, Jazz, Pom combos - as well as technical progressions. This is a workshop atmosphere - and not an evaluation. This is an opportunity for dancers interested in program - to self-evaluate themselves based on the material presented. These are NOT the combos that will be at tryouts - but rather give an example of style and expectations for the future team.
WHO: Anyone in High School grades 9 - 12 or any on-campus student or transfer student interested in trying out for a College Dance Team

*Please wear appropriate attire and shoes
